Over the last few years, I’ve spent thousands of pounds and hundreds of hours learning more about running a business and ultimately becoming a better business owner.

One of the most impactful things I’ve learned is the power of an up-to-date business plan . Many people think a business plan is something you create when first starting your business, is 15 pages long and you just stick it in the drawer and forget about it, or save it somewhere on your dropbox!

The truth is for businesses that want to move forward, your business plan needs to be live, relevant and up-to-date. Even if you are a lifestyle business you still need to be aligned with your goals and how your day, week, month and quarterly activities relate to this.
