Use of home claim
Friday, February 15th, 2019 in: Tax tips
This is something that many businesses over look (and sometimes employees).
If you spend time working from home there is an allowance to claim a proportion of your home costs against the business and an expense or via your tax code as an employee.
This video explains the three options you have to make a claim.
We have also attached our ‘use of home’ calculation form that has been created for businesses. Please note that we do no offer an opinion of your actual claim in your circumstances as you will need an accountant (either ourselves or another firm) to verify the appropriateness of the claim.
Download your form (if this links doesn’t work for any reason please contact us to send an up to date version).
Thanks
Steve
