Play To Your Strengths

As a small business owner I understand the importance of playing to your own strengths. I was often asked the question when starting out on my own how are you going to manage to compete with the bigger accountants in Cheltenham and locally? I said that if I was a customer, one of the main things I would value is the chance to deal with less people. In larger firms you can be bombarded with Claire from accounts, Jim from tax, Simone from audit and Debbie from payroll. When you call us, you will get one or two people looking after everything.
This works in my business as an accountant and my clients are property owners, contractors, freelancers, tradesmen etc looking for accounts, tax returns and bookkeeping services. However you need to find out what is a strength in your business and make sure you utilise it as much as possible.
